How has compression gear helped you perform at your best, whether in training or competition?
Compression gear has helped me perform at my best by keeping my body warm, especially during colder conditioning sessions. With my knee tendons flaring up in winter, it’s made a huge difference. In competition, it helps me stay mobile and reactive so I can keep producing at a high level. In training, I can push my body to the limit because I know the gear is helping with recovery, and it gives me that feeling of safety and stability in my movements.

What role does recovery play in your routine, and how does compression gear support that process?
Recovery is the foundation of my routine. If I can’t recover properly, I won’t be able to show up physically or mentally at my best. Compression helps me tick that box, it gives me peace of mind knowing my recovery is being looked after with proper compression tech. It also allows my body to recover passively, which means I can stay productive while still getting the recovery benefits.
Can you share a moment where compression helped you push through, either physically or mentally?
During my first NBL1 off-season, I was dealing with consistent knee pain. I was going hard with strength and conditioning to build myself up, and compression played a big role in helping me push through. It kept my muscles warm and supported, which helped me train harder and more confidently. That offseason was a turning point, and the gear definitely helped me get through it.
How does SA1NT Layers gear compare to other training or recovery wear you’ve used?
SA1NT Layers has honestly been a game changer. The muscle mapping technology is probably my favourite part, it keeps everything locked in and helps speed up recovery before, during, and after sessions. Compared to other gear I’ve worn, the quality and feel of SA1NT just hits different. It’s legit gear for serious athletes.
Why do you think compression is an essential part of any serious athlete’s kit?
If you want to get better at your sport over time and you’re serious about your sport, compression should be part of your routine. It helps with performance, but even more than that, it protects your body, helps prevent injuries, and keeps you ready to go day after day. It might seem small, but it makes a big difference over time.
What's your top training tip?
Personally, I train smart, hard and consistently. I focus on quality reps, look after your recovery, and be honest with yourself about where you need to improve. Real progress happens when you show up consistently, even on days it’s hard.
